Sherlyn Chopra reveals lifetime health disorder
When asked about her plans to become a mother, Sherlyn Chopra answered, “Yes, you see, I have a health disorder due to which I experienced kidney failure in 2021. It’s not a regular kidney failure; it’s an SLE kidney failure. SLE is an autoimmune disorder. You might have heard of autoimmune disorders. So, it’s that kind of health issue.”
She further added, “My doctor told me that to keep this health disorder under control, I will need to take medication for the rest of my life. I take it three times a day — morning, afternoon, and evening. They also advised that I should never contemplate getting pregnant because it could be life-threatening for both the baby and the mother.”
Sherlyn Chopra on becoming a mother
Speaking about how celebrities are becoming parents, Sherlyn Chopra expresses her desire to be a mother. She said, “So, what are my options? The options available in our country — I’d like to explore them. And I want to have at least three or four children.” When asked about naming her kids, she said, “I’ve thought about it a bit. I want every name to start with an ‘A.’ I’m obsessed with names that start with ‘A.’ I’ll tell you more very soon.”
When asked about the side of the actress visible when she is around children, Sherlyn said, “Yes, I think I was actually born to be a mother because whenever I think about children, I feel an indescribable happiness. Even before they arrive, I’m so happy. Just imagine how much joy I’ll feel after they’re here!” She admitted to being a working mother. Chopra said, “I’ll continue working, but I’ll carry them along with me. Initially, I’d hire a nanny who could take care of the kids in my presence.”
